Does this TFT's price tag reflect its performance?
While buying a bigger CRT means that you have to clear more desk space, TFTs don't really have that restriction. In fact, it's only the high prices for anything other than 15in models that have stopped larger models flying off the shelves.
But here we have a 19in TFT available for less than £400 from AOC. We admit that it's still not exactly cheap, but when you look at the price of all other 19in TFTs, this is something of a bargain.
That's not to say that it's missing any features, as there's everything you'd expect to find on more expensive models. For starters, you get a choice of connection to your PC - VGA or DVI. The DVI connection is particularly interesting, as using it means that you don't have to touch any controls - you just get the perfect picture.
Throw in a pair of speakers mounted in the stand and the LM919 looks like an even better buy. We couldn't fault the picture quality either, with the LM919 displaying a sharp image at its native resolution of 1280 x 1024.
This is a great monitor and the best value 19in TFT you can find.

Overall:
Great value for a 19in TFT but it still costs a fair whack of money.
