Simple clear advice in plain English

Junior Scrabble Interactive

This interactive version of Junior Scrabble brings the classic board game to the PC in a vibrant and colourful way.

The main menu presents you with three options: Words and Pictures requires you to place tiles on top of words already on the board to pick up points; Colours and Counters is a scaled-down version of traditional Scrabble; while in the third game you complete some classic fairy tales by finding the right words using anagrams or Hangman.

The bright and friendly display is perfect for the age bracket of three and up, and children will be picking up new words in no time.

The two Scrabble games let you play against friends or select from five levels of computer opponent, which are based on primary school levels. Gameplay is simple enough not to require any real learning process, although very young children will need plenty of help.

Junior Scrabble can also be played in French or German, a handy aid for children trying to learn other languages.

The enjoyment of a classic board game like Scrabble is hard to reproduce electronically, but the interactive and colourful approach of Junior Scrabble makes it a fun way for youngsters to learn new words.
