Life Themes

Life Themes enables families to create a digital record of their lives. The program creates a profile for each family member, to which digital photos, videos, key dates and anniversaries and appointments can be saved.

Life Themes then offers a variety of views, displaying family diary commitments or interlinking a record of each user's life.

It's a powerful program but its usefulness depends on the effort you put into it. Adding information, saving photos and diary dates takes time. Support for web access is not available so you cannot use the diary on a mobile device; the company has restricted such access for security reasons.

The software can be used on one PC only, although an upgrade to include support for other PCs on a network has been promised for later in the year. A licence for up to five PCs in total will cost £30. Life Themes does its job well but requires commitment.
