PC headphones for gaming and Skype
The Sennheiser PC 35 headphones are designed to be used with a computer for music, films, gaming and voice communication such as Skype calls.
There is a microphone attached to the left-hand pad, which can be tilted down for speaking and pushed back up when not in use.
A remote control attached to the cable allows the volume to be controlled and the microphone to be muted when you don't want to be heard. As it's a computer-only product that connects using USB rather than a standard headphone socket, it can't be connected to music players or any devices other than Windows or Mac computers.
Sound quality was fair – things were a bit muffled for music and the bass wasn't particularly loud (although it wasn't weak either) but it was fine for talking and for games.
Build quality was less impressive – the whole thing felt quite plasticky compared better devices, although it stayed together despite our best efforts.

Slightly flimsy build, but as a cheap pair of computer headphones it does the job
Keep an eye on how much bandwidth you are using and prevent going over fair usage limits with this useful tool
