Time to get crafty with this easy-to-use software
This scrapbook-creation software includes templates for all sorts of pages – instead of sticking photos, travel tickets and so on down to pieces of paper, you can import them onto Scrapbook Factory’s template pages and edit them, then add titles and more.
It includes a direct import tool for pulling things straight from a scanner or digital camera.
It’s an easy-to-use program, with bold, colourful templates and buttons, and there aren’t too many menu options, so it doesn’t get too confusing, although it took a long time (half an hour) to install.
In addition to the scrapbook pages, there’s a library of clip-art graphics, although here the program’s ease-of-use fell down as we couldn’t find the clip-art library (it was in the Program Files folder).
The program also includes templates for things other than scrapbook pages, such as t-shirts, CD labels, cards and calendars. There are good printing wizards and the program can also export files as PDFs should you wish to keep a digital archive rather than a paper one.
Although a good desktop-publishing program is more powerful, and advanced users may find the templates and graphics too limiting, for most people Scrapbook Factory Deluxe is a superb, easy-to-use program.
