Spy Kids: Mega Mission Zone

Give your children the chance to be a pint sizes James Bond.

Spy Kids: Mega Mission Zone is a collection of simple logic and coordination games based around the popular Spy Kids films.

Kids take the role of a newly enrolled 'Spy' and will no doubt find the introductory stages thrilling. There are a variety of difficulty levels and the overall feel is exciting and will keep kids exploring the package. Unfortunately, the interface is a little confusing and poorly labelled. Kids will have to find their way through plenty of clicking.

In view of this, the 6+ age range seems a little optimistic. That said, older children will find the games far too simplistic and not demanding enough. Some of the 'mission' interfaces are very confusing and lack an effective guide. Younger kids will most likely lose interest quickly.

Despite this shortcoming, the brief video introductions to the various games and challenges are good fun. They are acted by the original characters from the film and will keep kids coming back for more.

All in all, there is plenty here to keep the kids happy and this is a pretty fair offering. However, it could have benefit from being more streamlined and simplified.
