Become a 'bedroom DJ' with this software from ejay.
Making music compilations has been popular since the C90 audio-cassette tape was spawned years ago. Creating a seamless mix of tunes using pause-and-record mixes was tough in those days but thanks to the digital revolution and software such as eJay Mix CD Producer, you can do it all on your computer.
The premise is simple: load your MP3, WMA or WAV tracks into the program and combine the end of one track with the start of another, meaning no break in the music and instant DJ status. However, it's not that easy in practice. If you've never used music software before, the main program screen is fairly imposing and using the tools to create your mix is very fiddly. It's also quite removed from the usual fun look of other eJay titles.
Still, with a bit of effort the results are very rewarding and you'll soon be tinkering with the advanced settings. It also comes with its own CD-writing option, so you can burn your mixes to CD.

Overall:
Tricky at first but gets easier and more enjoyable with every attempt.
Twitter is great on smartphones, but awful on Windows Phone 7
