A Blu-ray player with some good extra features
It can also play 3D film discs, connect to the internet and has a USB port
This Blu-ray player has excellent picture quality that gets the most out of high-definition films.
It can also play 3D film discs, connect to the internet (it has wired and wireless connections) and has a USB port for connecting an external hard disk for playing video or audio files.
The online services were a mixed bag: the interface was clunky and quite slow, with the applications poorly supported. The Net TV service felt a bit pointless – there were applications for YouTube, Ebay, Twitter, Daily Motion and a web browser, but the best by far was the BBC iPlayer. Annoyingly, applications kept freezing intermittently, the web browser application didn't support Flash and navigating using the remote control was slow and clunky.
The player itself looked sleek with a brushed silver finish, although it felt light and even flimsy. The remote control also looked cheap, but the buttons were clear and simple to use. Picture quality when playing Blu-ray films was excellent and disc loading times were speedy.
With a wealth of connections and excellent picture quality, this Blu-ray player can add lots of useful extra features to a high-definition TV.
