Find out how to view global time zones in Windows
If you are Using Windows 7 or Vista click the Start button and choose Control Panel from the menu. When it appears, click the Clock, Language and Region heading, find the Date and Time heading and click the ‘Add clocks for different time zones’ link underneath it. When the dialogue box opens, click in the empty box where it says ‘Show this clock’ and choose a time zone from the dropdown list. Next, where it says ‘Enter display name’ type in a name for the clock. Add a second clock in the same way and click OK.
Close the Control Panel and hover the mouse pointer over the clock in the Notification Area. Windows 7 and Vista will display a pop-up panel that shows the local time and the time in the two zones set up in the previous step. If you want more details, left-click on the time and the panel shown in this screenshot will appear, making it easy to see the different times. Click anywhere on the Desktop and the panel disappears.
Windows XP users should launch a web browser and visit www.snipca.com/x1920. When the page loads, click the Download button. If the File Download Security Warning dialogue box appears, click Save and choose a location for the downloaded file, such as the Windows Desktop. Firefox users should select Save File to save the download to Firefox’s default download folder. Now locate and double-click the file just downloaded. If a message about .Net appears skip to Step 4 before returning here. Accept the licence agreement and the default settings and then click Close to finish.
If a message appears that says you need to download .Net, click No. Switch back to the web browser and you will see the Time Zone download page. Under the Related Resources heading click .Net Framework v1.1 Service Pack 1. At the next screen click .Net Framework 1.1 (it’s on the right). Now click Download .Net Framework 1.1 Redistributable and click the Download button. Ignore any security warnings and click Save, choose a download location and click Save again. Double-click the .Net icon, agree to the licence and click Install. Now install Time Zone – see Step 3.
Click the Start button and choose All Programs, find the Time Zone program and click it once.
