Win Datawind Pocketsurfer2 internet devices worth £900

Surf the web on the move without a cumbersome notebook

Submit entry

Using the internet when you're on the move can be handy, whether it's for checking when the next train arrives or passing the time until it does.

The Pocketsurfer2 is smaller than a notebook and uses mobile phone networks to access the internet even if there are no wireless networks nearby. Computeractive has teamed up with Datawind to offer five lucky winners a Pocketsurfer 2 each, with a year's subscription. Each prize is worth £180.

The Pocketsurfer's subscription includes 20 hours of surfing a month, including email, instant messaging and maps. Unlimited access costs £6 a month.

The Pocketsurfer 2 fits into the palm of a hand, but it still has a 640x240 colour display, so is wide enough to view most websites without radically changing their appearance; other mobile phone displays are smaller and have to rearrange web pages.

The Pocketsurfer2 can read emails, run Java applications and access secure websites. It even has a satellite-navigation receiver so it can find the nearest station or restaurant with the help of Google Maps. The Pocketsurfer2 also compresses web pages, helping to reduce the time needed to load a page. Most websites take between five and seven seconds to load.

For your chance to win one of these handheld internet devices, answer the question shown in the box on the right before 28 May.
