With the internet being used for watching television programs, listening to music and even telephone conversations, a good router is essential to keep everything running smoothly. Computeractive has teamed up with AVM to give five readers a versatile wireless router and USB key worth £1,300.

The Fritz!box Fon Wlan 7270 router connects to multiple PCs and laptop computers around your home. You can also use it to connect up to six cordless telephones, answering machines and faxes. Those worried about security will also be pleased to know that Fritz!box is secure straight out of the box thanks to its activated WPA/WPA2 encryption. Wlan communication can be switched on and off automatically or manually using a pushbutton, while the Wlan Eco Mode keeps power consumption to a minimum even when the device is in use.

For added security the router also comes with a firewall and a child lock that you can set to ensure children don't stumble upon sites that are not suitable.
The Fritz!wlan USB Stick N plugs straight into a USB port on a PC or laptop and claims to boost network speeds to up to 300Mbits/sec. Like the router, it scrambles information for security.

For your chance to win one of these bundles, answer the question by visiting our competition web page www.computeractive.co.uk/ competitions before 24 July 2009. For more information about AVM visit www.fritzbox.eu.
