Trend Micro Internet Security 2008 covers all the different aspects of online security from traditional anti-virus through to fraud defence and wireless network protection.
The anti-virus module scans the computer for malicious software including internet downloads and removable media. Internet Security also scans for spyware and root kits.
The fraud defence function helps prevent falling for phising attacks that may try and steal credit card and bank account numbers.
Protecting a home network can often be tricky but Internet Security 2008 includes software for preventing strangers accessing a wireless network. It also makes it possible to manage the security settings on other computers on the network.
