There are many reasons for needing to make a CD or DVD with an ISO file such as creating a Linux Live CD. It is a very convenient format for downloading a CD but sadly won't work if you just copy the ISO file onto the CD. Active@ ISO Burner will make a CD with an ISO file.

No installation is required as the download is simply the program itself, the help file and the licence. No installation file makes life easier but does mean that if you want to put it in Program Files, you will need to create shortcuts.

ISO images can be burnt to all kinds of CD and DVD discs. It supports Burn-proof technology that can prevent problems if the flow of data to the disc is interrupted. CD-RW and DVD-RW discs can be properly erased before burning the image – another feature that can prevent problems.
