Handheld computers are the most convenient place to store frequently-used passwords but can also be the most dangerous.
If lost or stolen, passwords could get into the wrong hands. Cryptex helps solve this problem by encrypting the passwords so they can only be read when a master password is supplied.
The passwords are organised by a title for site or service with a good selection of icons to help distinguish between them.
All password managers are really databases and Cryptex uses this in a very flexible way. Rather than force information into basic username and password fields, you can create as many fields as may be needed for making the information meaningful.
For example if there are several online bank accounts in the database, a field can be added to describe the kind of accounts.
Categories can also be used to help organise the entries.
