It is fashionable to put rounded corners on websites but creating the required images and adding them to a site can be difficult. Nifty Corners Cube is a simple Javascript plugin for websites that makes the effect easy to apply.

The download file contains the three files needed to include Nifty Corners Cube in a webpage and the thirteen examples given on the project home page. Full instructions are also to be found on this page.

There is no need to have learnt Javascript but it is necessary to have some working knowledge of HTML and CSS. This is because Nifty Corners Cube uses the id command in CSS to identify the parts of the webpage to give rounded corners.

Bear in mind that some people turn Javascript off or use browsers that cannot use it. In this case the corners will appear square. It is always a good idea to test a website in several browsers before publishing to the web.
