Ask a musician what they find frustrating about long pieces of music and they will probably complain about having to turn pages. Music Reader not only handles displaying music but can be used to organise a collection.

When playing music, Music Reader can either switch to the new page immediately or do a half-page turn so the previous page is still visible. The switch can be made with a key press or by using a foot pedal. A tap on a touchscreen can also be used if it is available.

It is also possible to add annotations to music to highlight tricky passages or suggest fingerings. A full-screen view also makes the most of the available screen space.

A built-in music player can play backing tracks and there is a metronome for solo pieces.

Sheet music can imported from image files such as PDF, GIP, JPG, PNG, BMP, and TIFF. Music Reader installs a new printer driver on installation that can be used to save documents in the Music Reader format directly.
