ISO Disk is a clever utility that can access ISO disc files so that they appear as a normal drive to Windows.

This can be useful if you want to access a file from a disc image file downloaded from the internet without having to burn it to a disc.

Another possible use is to copy existing discs to the computer and then access them instantly without having to look for them.

Accessing disk images in this way is called mounting them, and ISO Disk can mount up to 20 images at once, which is quite useful. It can also create the images itself, rather than relying on yet another utility for this.

It can even load an ISO image held on a network share, helpful if the disc images are being shared by several different people.

Many game copy protection systems will not let you copy the disc as an ISO image, but this is still a useful utility.
