The simplest form of backup is to copy files from one computer (or drive) to another. The problem comes when trying to keep track of which files are where. Dirsync Pro takes the hassle out of these backups by copying folders for you.
It checks which files have already been copied and saves time by leaving them alone. This is particularly useful for anyone connecting to a network drive with a wireless connection to back up large files.
It is written in Java so will work with any computer with the Java Runtime Environment installed, such as Mac or Linux. This download includes a file, DirSyncPro.exe, that should be double-clicked in Windows to start the program. Other operating systems can use the .jar file.
