Taskbar Meters take advantage of the improvements made to the Windows 7 taskbar.

Taskbar Meters displays a separate icon for CPU, memory and hard disk activity that gradually fills as the computer works harder.

The icons also serve as useful shortcuts to the Task Manager and Resource Monitor to get more information on how the computer is being used.

The update frequency can be adjusted and you can also change the level at which the bars change colour from yellow or red to indicate utility-resource usage.
