Apple’s iTunes is one of the most popular music player applications for both
PCs and Macs. Like any good music program it allows users to create ‘playlists’
so that specific types of songs can be grouped together, or to build playlists
of songs for events such as a party or a wedding.
However, it can take quite a while to sort through a music collection to
locate the songs you want. And, of course, there’s always the possibility of
forgetting songs that haven’t been played recently.
The Smart Playlist option in iTunes simplifies the task of creating playlists
by letting users create ‘rules’ that determine what sort of songs should be
included in the playlist. Once that’s done, just sit back and let iTunes do the
work for you.
