Knocking Apple’s iTunes off its perch as the number-one legal music download
service in the world is going to take some doing. That’s why new rival Emusic is
offering anyone who signs up to its service 25 free songs.
Don’t like what’s on offer? Then cancel it any time within the first two
weeks or before reaching the free songs limit, without paying a penny. However,
it may not come to that. With more than one million songs that are compatible
with any music player (including the Apple iPod), Emusic has a lot going for it
and visitors may decide to stick around to become paid subscribers.
In this Workshop we’ll describe how to sign on, get free music and then
cancel the subscription if Emusic doesn’t suit.
