If you use an up-to-date web browser such as Opera, Firefox or Internet
Explorer 7, you’ll be familiar with the concept of tabbed browsing, which allows
the web surfer to view websites on distinct tabs.
This isn’t a new idea. Many aspects of Windows use tabs, as do many
applications. Microsoft Excel, for example, employs tabs to allow users to
manage multiple spreadsheets – or worksheets – that can be saved as one file.
Worksheets can interact, so one can influence information on another.
In
this Workshop we demonstrate the basics of tabbed worksheets. We use Excel
2003 but the techniques are applicable in some earlier versions of the
application.
