Q I use the Bookmark toolbar in
Firefox for the websites I
regularly visit. Each bookmark has the favicon for that website to the right.
Unfortunately, some of the favicons are with the wrong link. Is it possible to
reset them?
A This is a known bug with Firefox and, sadly, there is no
actual fix. The simplest way to reset the icon is to delete the bookmark and
then create it again. Start Firefox and then left-click on the bookmark once to
load the page. Once the page has loaded, right click on the bookmark and then
left click on Delete. Move the cursor over the favicon in the address bar, this
is the small icon to the left of the address. Press the left mouse button down,
move the cursor down to the bookmark toolbar and then release the button to
create a new icon.
