With more people enjoying the benefits of broadband, larger files are being
sent and received via the internet.
However, although lots of internet service providers dub their broadband
packages as ‘unlimited’, some actually cap the amount of data that can be
downloaded to a certain number of gigabytes per month.
These services are usually cheaper to run, but the companies behind them
don’t like it when customers exceed their limit. It’s therefore important to
keep an eye on what’s being downloaded over a specific period to ensure that you
don’t regularly exceed the upper limit.
