We previously looked at Google’s instant messaging tool, Google Talk, and
explored how it combines free voice calls with text chatting.
The latest version adds new features that make it even more useful.
First, groups of people having online chats can send files to each other –
perhaps a set of photos or documents.
In addition, Google Talk now lets users leave voicemail and text messages for
people who aren’t online so when they sign in, they get spoken or written
messages straightaway.
