Workshop: Get organised with online to-do lists

Running a sophisticated task manager from anywhere in the world has never been easier. Here’s how to set one up

Remember The Milk is the curious name for an electronic to-do list run from the web, so it can be accessed from any PC anywhere in the world with an internet connection; all that’s required is to sign in with a username and password.

This makes it useful for people on the go, or those who like the idea of shifting some of the load off their PC and onto someone else’s.

When a task is due, Remember The Milk can be set up to send a reminder via email or text message, and although still in beta, is reliable enough for daily use.

Those who delve deeper will find fancy features for running tasks collaboratively with others, but there’s also plenty here for individuals.

Here's how to use Remember The Milk.
