We’re launching a campaign to ensure that the UK’s broadband users are
getting the best value for money.
We want Computeractive's community of readers to help us find out if
broadband
customers are getting the internet connection speeds they’re paying for.
We’ve teamed up with a number of industry players, including
Consumerchoices.co.uk,
which has developed a special speed-testing application on our behalf. The
program monitors broadband speeds and collates results, which will be return to
us anonymously.
Note that the program is free, though a short registration form must be
filled in: this is so we can track how and where the application is being used.
