Although Windows XP has a search feature, it is a palaver to use. It’s a
separate program for starters, with an annoying animated ‘helper’, and as these
things go, it’s slow very slow.
The new search feature in Windows Vista is altogether slicker. It’s built
into the Start menu, begins to retrieve results as soon as you start typing, is
able to extend any search to include the internet with a single mouse click and
is also available from any folder, allowing disorganised PC users to find what
they’re after quickly and easily, no matter how cluttered they’ve let their
computers become.
