If you use lots of scientific and mathematical equations in Microsoft Word,
it can be very frustrating to scroll through the symbols list.
There is an easier way of inputting such symbols to signify squared or cubed
functions. By holding down the Ctrl and Shift buttons while tapping the ‘=’ key,
any highlight text is instantly formatted as superscript (characters which are
set above the line of text).
It is an invaluable tool if, like me, you use lots of equations in documents.
