Windows Vista makes it possible to use USB memory keys to help improve the
performance of a PC by using a portion of its capacity to supplement the
installed memory. When you insert a compatible memory key, select ‘Speed up my
computer’ from the Autoplay menu.
If this does not appear, open Windows Explorer, right-click on the icon for
the drive, select Properties and move to the Readyboost tab. Select the ‘Use
this device’ option and then move the slider to indicate how much storage space
should be used to help speed up Vista.
