Overall:

A good TFT not the cheapest around.

When you hear the name Hercules you probably associate it with graphics cards but the company has expanded its product range and now makes TFTs such as the 15in Prophetview 720.

It's designed not just to display a good-looking image but to be stylish and attractive to look at. The sculptured bezel (available in blue or black) and silver stand makes this TFT ideal for a bedroom or proudly on display in the front room. Our only minor complaint is that the stand is a little on the low side.

The good looks apply to the quality of the picture as well. Thanks to the Auto adjust button we had the perfect picture within seconds. It's a sharp display that can handle fast moving pictures such as games and movies without flinching.

Hercules provides software allowing you to test your monitor for defects. Ideally we would have liked this software to be more user friendly and also help to configure the set-up including the viewing angle.

It's not the cheapest TFT on the market but it doesn't display any of the hallmark failings of its cheaper competition.

All in all, it's worth scraping together a few extra pennies as the results are worth it.
