Watford Electronics said today it has obtained the assets and trading rights for the brands Tiny Computers and Tiny.com and intends to honour warranty support for existing Tiny customers.
Tiny Computers, along with Time Computers was previously part of the UK’s largest PC manufacturing group, until its parent company, Granville Technology Group, went into administration in July 2005. It is believed thousands of people were left without warranty support or unable to get the goods they had ordered.
There has been no mention if Tiny customers who placed orders as GTG went into administration will get their goods. However, Watford said it intends to offer warranty support of some kind to existing Tiny customers.
