High street chain
Game
has cut the price of its
Microsoft Xbox360
consoles by a third, but only for a day.
The retailer's website is running a 24-hour Xbox 360 sale, with a different
offer each hour until midnight tonight (May 19).
The biggest deal of the day so far has been a selection of Xbox 360 Core
packages at £140, which is a saving of £70 on the retail price of £210. However,
each hourly offer is very limited, with only 10 of the consoles available.
The Core package is the lower-specification model of the two available – the
Premium package includes a hard disk, wireless controller and headset, but is
£70 more expensive than the Core system.
Other offers so far have included Xbox 360 hard disks for £40, memory cards
for £10 and three months' membership of the Xbox Live internet gaming service
for £5.
