Angry internet users have started a tongue-in-cheek campaign to have the Caps Lock key removed from keyboards.
The group claims that the key is squatting on 'valuable keyboard real estate' and is a 'large, useless key'. In the past, the key was used by programmers who needed to type in long sequences of upper-case letters.
With fewer and fewer home computers programming their own software, the group suggests that Caps Lock's time has come.
