Onkyo has launched a DAB radio that it says will work well in areas of poor digital reception.
The company has replaced the DAB module used in the previous CR-505DAB model with a new design that offers "greater sensitivity, improving reception in weak signal areas".
The new CS-515DAB incorporates an MP3-capable CD player and offers DAB radio reception as well as AM/FM frequencies.
There are four audio inputs: a subwoofer output, two analogue audio outputs, plus a digital optical audio input on the rear panel that allows direct audio playback when using the digital output from a computer.
The complete system with matching 2-way speakers is priced at £300, but customers also have the choice of buying the CD/DAB receiver only for £230.
