Tomtom Go users can now receive traffic updates via the company's RDS-TMC Traffic Receiver.

In order to receive RDS-TMC Traffic information via the Tomtom GO, customers require Tomtom’s latest software application, which is available through Tomtom HOME.

Then by tapping the traffic icon on the Tomtom Go user interface, more detailed information about each traffic situation is displayed. The Tomtom GO will then recalculate an alternative route if requested.

The receiver is compatible with the new Tomtom GO 910, Tomtom GO 710 and Tomtom GO 510 and will be available in shops throughout the UK from this month priced £69.99
