Evesham launches £150 sat-nav device

Comes with 2GB memory card for music and photos

Written by Andrea-Marie Vassou, Computeract!ve

Evesham has launched a sub-£150 satellite-navigation system that plays mp3s and displays digital photographs.

The Nav-Cam 7700 features AA Navigator software and has preloaded, up-to-date maps on its 256MB of inbuilt memory, leaving the supplied 2GB SD/MMC card free for music and images.

It has a 3.5in touch display, with full screen 2D and 3D maps and the usual voice and visual instruction guides. Owners can navigate directly to post codes or choose from the points of interests. It also has visual and audible speed camera alerts for all six UK speed camera types, and comes with six months of free updates of the speed camera database.

The Nav-Cam 7700 will be available by the end of November 2006, and comes with a car charger, windscreen mount and a USB Sync Cable, priced at £149.99.
