Ontrack has announced it can now offer data recovery services that
are compatible with Microsoft’s new operating system, Windows Vista, on sale to
consumers at the end of this month,
Ontrack data recovery services are used
by companies and consumers to recover lost or corrupted data from virtually all
operating systems and types of storage devices.
This can either be carried out by a consumer at home or companies in-house
using
Ontrack
Remote Data Recovery software downloaded to their computer or
servers. Alternatively the company offers in-house laboratory recovery services.
To ensure that its recovery services meet the needs of new Vista
users, Ontrack has been working with Microsoft since 2005 during the operating
system's early beta trials.
Phil Bridge, managing director for Ontrack UK said: "Whenever Microsoft
brings new technology to the marketplace, it is imperative that we enhance our
recovery capabilities to ensure the highest quality recovery solutions are
available to every computer user.
"Our engineering team has been working with both Vista and Exchange Server
2007 since early beta testing in 2005, so we’re confident that we can handle any
recovery challenge – from home users to the largest corporations – with these
new technologies."
