Uswitch launches online guides

Independent comparison organisation offers customer guides

Written by Andrea-Marie Vassou, Computeract!ve

Uswitch wants people to know exactly what they are getting themselves into when they are deciding to change suppliers.

The independent comparison and switching advice service has launched a series of Insider’s Guides that will give people information on what to consider when changing gas, broadband or car insurance supplier as well as how to get the best credit.

The guides, which are available on the organisation's website, were created after members of the public stressed the need for more in-depth information to support them through the transition process.

They explain the steps the switching process requires and break down jargon often found in contracts and quotes, for example the difference between “third party” and “comprehensive” insurance.

Stuart Watson, senior editor of uSwitch.com, said: “The subjects covered by the Insider’s Guide have been selected especially as they are the hot topics of the moment and we hope that they will provide an interesting and relevant resource for our customers”.
