Customers of the Tiscali's internet television service will soon be able to view channels from the satellite broadcaster Sky.

Channels including Sky One, Two and Three will become available in the summer. In addition Tiscali subscribers will also be able to watch programming from Sky Arts featuring architecture, film, design, drama and literature as well as opera, dance, classical music and jazz.

Tiscali TV is currently available in London and Stevenage, although the ISP plans to offer services to up to 60 per cent of the UK in September following a series of upgrades to equipment in telephone exchanges around the country.

The service can be viewed on a standard TV set via a decoder and provides features such as TV on demand. Limits on broadband downloads to a PC are not affected by the TV services.
