Home network adapter from Solwise plugs straight into wall

Solwise has launched a powerline adapter that claims to enable home networking without any PC set up.
The Solwise Homeplug adapter with Simpleconnect plugs in to a standard mains socket and uses the electrical circuit around the home to create an internet network.
According to the company claims, this will offer data transfer at a rate of up to 200Mbits/sec, which is quicker than a standard bandwidth Wifi connection.
The Homeplug also comes with built-in encryption, which secures the network, and Quality of Service which will give bandwidth priority to multimedia services such as TV over IP (IPTV). It costs £50.
