Application gives Mac users access to same features as PC and Linux users

Mac users can now download and use Google's Picasa photo-organising application.
Picasa, which categorises, stores, edits and allows photo sharing, was previously only available on Windows and Linux-based PCs. However, it will only work on an Intel-based Mac running Mac OSX 10.4 and above.
The free Mac version has all the features offered in the Windows-based application, including photo editing and a drag-and-drop photo collage tool for photo layouts.
There is also a retouching brush tool for getting rid of scratches, blemishes and red eye.
The slideshow movie maker uploads photo montage videos to Youtube, and photographs can be tagged so others can search for them under keywords.
