If you regularly open files from My Documents in Windows you may find it easier to display it as a submenu accessible from the Start button.
Right-click on the Taskbar, select Properties, the Start menu tab and then click on Customize. Click on the Advanced tab that appears and scroll down to the My Documents entry in Start menu items.
Click on the option Display as a menu and click on OK.
This tip can also be used with the Control Panel, My Music and My Pictures.
