In this Workshop, we’ll explain the process of locking down a network so that it can be accessed only by authorised computers.

The overwhelming majority of routers include sturdy security options as standard but we will show how these can be extended through the use of free software. We will also look at the ways in which files and folders can be safely shared between computers on the same network in XP and Vista.
