Windows 7 includes various ‘themes’ that give a distinctive look and feel to the Desktop. The presence of some themes depends on where in the world the product was bought, so UK editions of Windows 7 includes some excellent pictures of things such as Tower Bridge and Stonehenge.
However, for whatever reason, Windows 7 doesn’t activate all the available region-specific themes by default – even though they’re all sitting there on the hard disk, ready to roll.
Fortunately, finding and installing these hidden themes is straightforward when you know how.
As this Workshop explains, anyone can track them down and then enjoy a range of beautiful, exotic Desktop backgrounds.
