So you've got a quiet CPU, case and graphics card fan, but your system still makes a racket. If you have a motherboard that uses an active cooling solution for the Northbridge chip, that's your number one suspect - similarly if the chipset fan whines before it warms up, it's a sure sign that the fan is failing and it's time for a change.
One solution is to remove the cooling fan (very carefully!) and after making sure it will fit, install a ZM-NB32J passive cooler from Zalman.
