Excuse me... could you take a picture of me using this template I have just set up?
Three new Samsung cameras ensure that you get the picture you want even if you get a stranger to take it.
The WB550, WB100 and the PL-10 compact cameras allow you to frame your picture and then retain a ghost image in the viewfinder so that the stranger will know exactly where to point.
Samsung does not explain, however, how you will be able to explain this to your helpful stranger in China, for instance, if you want a quick snap of yourself in Tiananmen Square.
The WB550 and WB100, which respectively have a 5x and 10x optical zoom, both pack a 12 megapixel sensor, a 3in organic (AMOLED) viewing screen, and a 24mm wide-angle lens
Other features include HD movie capture, smart scene recognition to optimized setting automatically to current conditions, and dual image stabilization.
The £329 WB100 and the £299 WB500 will be available in April. So will the 9 mgapixel PL10, which has a 2.7in LCD screen and doubles as a potable media player. It costs £179. www.samsungcamera.co.uk
