PCW under new management

VNU UK magazines bought by Incisive Media

Personal Computer World and our sister magazine Computeractive have new owners. We have been bought by Incisive Media , the award winning publisher of a wide range of market leading business-to-business magazines, including Post Magazine, Investment Week, Legal Week, Professional Pensions, Risk and Mortgage Solutions.

Incisive Media chief executive Tim Weller said he wanted to exploit the opportunities for both businesses to learn from each other: “VNU has made some great strides in developing a vibrant web presence and I am sure there is much Incisive can learn from that.

"Similarly, we have some great expertise and a lot of experience in establishing successful event programmes alongside our brands and expect to be able to use that to the benefit of readers of VNU publications.

“As a company we are committed to producing the very best content in every market we serve and we are excited at having the opportunity to develop the market leading brands of the VNU portfolio. We will continue to invest to ensure that readers get the highest quality and most comprehensive coverage of their markets”.

Incisive Media also get other magazines in the VNU UK fold, including Computing and IT Week.
