£15-a-month offer on a par with rival deals
Virgin Media has followed its rivals in launching a mobile broadband service. People who sign up for an 18-month contract at £15 a month get a free USB modem for their laptops.
Usage is capped at 3GB a month, with extra data costing £15 per gigabyte.
The deal is similar to ones offered by Orange, 3, and Vodaphone, though 02 charges £20 a month.
T-Mobile is expected to announce UK pricing and availability of its G1 phone today.
