Elonex launches Media Center PC

New home PC boasts 40in LCD display

Elonex has taken the wraps of its latest Lumina Media Center PC, one of the first to support Intel’s new Viiv technology.

The Lumina 3 is an all-in-one PC that resembles a large flat-screen TV which can be table-mounted or hung on the wall.

It comes with a massive 40in or 32in LCD panel, Intel dual-core processor, 1GB of DDR2 memory and a 500GB hard disk drive, with an option to add another drive up to 120GB.

It runs Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 Edition and comes with a remote control for accessing many of the key functions.

Additional features include a high-end Nvidia Geforce 6600LE graphics card with 256MB of memory, dual-layer DVD rewriter, support for 7.1 surround sound, memory card reader, wireless Lan support, digital TV tuner and wireless keyboard with integrated joystick mouse.

Prices to be finalised but expect the Lumina 3 to start at about £2,500 for the 32in version.
